St. Martha’s College Of Nursing

The School of Nursing at St. Martha’s Hospital has evolved into a College of Nursing since 1998. With a rich history spanning nearly nine decades, the institution has played a pivotal role in shaping nursing education. Offering both degree and diploma courses, it has consistently aimed at preparing quality nurse educators and administrators who deliver value-based nursing education, elevating the nursing profession to greater heights.

Recognizing the evolving needs of the healthcare sector, the College further expanded its offerings by introducing M.Sc. Nursing in 2016 and the Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care (NPCC) Course in 2020. Affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka State Nursing Council, the College remains dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in nursing education.

St. Martha’s Hospital, a Catholic, voluntary, and charitable institution, stands as a well-equipped multi-specialty hospital with 500 beds. Beyond specialized services, the hospital provides 24-hour emergency and pharmaceutical services, comprehensive diagnostic facilities, and community outreach programs designed to support economically weaker sections of society. The hospital’s objectives center around serving the sick and suffering, restoring them to complete physical, mental, social, and spiritual health.
