General Nursing and Midwifery
Duration : 3 Years , Number of Seats : 60Affiliated to KSDNEB,KNC,INC
ELIGIBILITY
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with any subjects.
- Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) For admission to Diploma Nursing (GNM) program candidates should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent.

- Students shall have Board (KSDNEB) examination at the end of each year. Minimum pass marks shall be 50% in each of the theory and practical separately.
- Class tests will be conducted periodically to evaluate the student’s performance in each subject. The average marks will be sent to the Board (KSDNEB) as internal assessment, for both theory and practical.
- A model exam will be conducted before the Board (KSDNEB) examination.
Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing
Duration : 2 Years, Number of Seats : 40Affiliated to RGUHS ,KNC, INC
ELIGIBILITY
- Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination preferably with respective state /country
- Candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council
- No candidate who is above 48 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission will be eligible.
- Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Post Basic B. Sc Nursing program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country.

- Examination
- Students shall have university examination at the end of each year. Minimum pass marks shall be 50% in each of the theory and practical separately.

- A model exam will be conducted before the university examination.
- Carry over system: The benefit of carry over system is extended to the students of Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course. A candidate is permitted to carryover the main subjects in each year that is for first year 4 subjects out of 8 subjects.
Basic B.Sc. Nursing
Duration : 4 Years, Number of Seats : 100Affiliated to RGUHS,KNC,INC
ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates should have completed 17 years on or before the 31st day of December, of the year of admission
- Candidates should have passed any other examination conducted by Boards/Councils/Intermediate education established by the State Government/Central Government and recognized as equivalent to the two-year pre-university examination by RGUHS/Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with English as one of the subjects, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects, and the candidate should have passed English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination. With respect to candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or other backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English taken together in the qualifying examination should not be less than 40% instead of 50% as mentioned above.
- In case of candidates from the stream of Vocational Higher Secondary Course, conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala; the candidates should have taken a minimum of 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, in addition to the vocational subject.
- Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to Basic B Sc Nursing program candidates should have qualified 12th standard obtained by association of Indian University/ Institution/ Council or equivalent that has been prescribed by Indian Nursing Council

M.Sc. Nursing
Duration : 2 Years, Number of Seats : 25Affiliated to RGUHS,KNC,INC
ELIGIBILITY
- Passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. In nursing degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka (RGUHS), or any other university accepted as equivalent by RGUHS, Karnataka.
- Minimum one year of work experience after obtaining B Sc Nursing (Basic) in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution/community health setting. For candidates with Post Basic B.Sc. In nursing degree, no such experience is needed after graduation.
- Registered with the State Nursing Council as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
- Foreign nationals: (including Nepali, Bangladeshi, Bhutani, and Tibetan refugee) seeking admission to M. Sc Nursing program must have valid certificate of registered nurse by their own country except for OBG specialty.
